📝 Ingredients

  • 200 g ancient rice

  • 400 ml water

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 clove of garlic

  • Sea salt to taste

  • Fresh herbs (optional)

Optional flavor enhancers:

  • Freshly grated ginger

  • A splash of lemon juice

  • Chopped fresh parsley



👩🍳 Instructions

  1. Rinse the water thoroughly with a fine-mesh sieve.

  2. Bring water to a boil in a pot.

  3. Add rice and simmer over medium heat for 15–18 minutes, until rice is tender.

  4. While the rice is cooking, finely chop the garlic .

  5. Heat olive oil in a pan and fry the garlic until fragrant.

  6. Stir in the cooked rice and mix well with the garlic oil.

  7. Season with sea salt .

  8. Garnish with herbs such as parsley or chives before serving .
