Classic baby rice recipe

Cooling comfort food, perfect for hot days
Servings: 2 | Preparation time: 5 min | Cooking time: 10 min. (plus cooling)
Ingredients:

1 cup cooked white rice (preferably short grain rice)

1 cup fresh yogurt (smoothed)

½ cup Milk (Adjust consistency)

1 tsp ginger paste

½ tsp Salt
Tempering (Tadka):
-
1 tbsp Ghee
-
½ tsp Mustard seeds
-
1 dried red chili pepper
-
10 curry leaves
Optional accessories:

Pomegranate seeds
-
Finely chopped cucumber
Preparation:

Mash rice with milk to dissolve lumps

Stir in yogurt, ginger and salt

Prepare tempering in ghee and pour over

Before serving at least 1 hour Let cool Serve
