🍳 Baby rice recipe (2-3 servings)

Preparation time: 25 minutes
Difficulty level: Easy

🧂 Ingredients:

  • 200 g ancient rice

  • 400 ml water

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 garlic clove (optional)

  • Sea salt to taste (optional)

  • Fresh herbs (optional – finely chopped)

🌿 Optional flavor enhancers (for toddlers/adults):

  • Fresh ginger (finely grated)

  • lemon juice

  • Fresh parsley


🥣 Instructions:

  1. Rinse thoroughly in a fine mesh sieve to remove natural odors.

  2. Bring water to a boil in a pot.

  3. Add rice and simmer over medium heat for 15–18 minutes.

  4. Finely chop the garlic (optional).

  5. Heat olive oil in a separate pan and lightly fry the garlic.

  6. Stir in the cooked rice. Stir gently.

  7. Add a little salt or leave it out completely.

  8. Garnish with finely chopped herbs (optional).


🍽️ Serving suggestion

Combine rice with:

  • Steamed vegetables

  • Avocado puree

  • Grilled tofu or chicken strips (for older babies or adults)
