Ingredients:

  • 2 cups Sticky rice (Be sure to use sticky rice) variety)

  • Water for soaking

  • Banana leaves or cheesecloth (for steaming)

Optional utensils:

  • Bamboo steamer

  • Traditional Thai sticky rice basket (Huad)

Directions:

  1. rice Soak in cold water for at least 4 hours (or overnight)

  2. Drain thoroughly in a sieve 

  3. In a bamboo basket/steamer lined with leaves Steam for 20–25 minutes
